My happiest 5k
Happy happy run! Everyone knows i love running, so when my best friend Monika asked her to join in Color Run, i was immediately on the first train to London!
What makes Color Run so special? So many things!
First, of all after you registered, you receive a goodie bag with special Color Run t-shirt, head band, your number and other cute stuff! Once i got my hand on the t-shirt i immediately jazzed it up a little, to make it look even more fun (you can see pictures of me in this jazzy t-shirt below). I didn't stop there, i decided to get loads of temporary glittery tattoos, put a massive pink bow on my head and top it up with bright red sunglasses. Finally, after this exciting preparation, we were ready to stretch those legs and run, run, ruuuunnn!
The warm up station was buzzing with great atmosphere, funky music and people stretching in weirdest poses.
So we did our stretch routine, danced a bit and were ready to run!
When we finally got to the start line, heard the "ready, steady, go!", we ran! Ran so good! The route had 4 stages of color blasting and 1 unicorn area filled with bubbles! So at the each color stage you get ton of the green, blue, orange or yellow dust thrown at your face, into your mouth and ears, but it doesn't matter because you're in such a positive atmosphere and you want more!!
The unicorn are was the best, i can't even tell you how much fun it was, it's like being in the foam party at Ibiza, only better!
After finishing our happiest 5k, we were given free water and free color dust to get ourselves even more colorful! So that we did, Monika and I started to bombard each other with that dust till we were out of breath.
So that was our little colorful adventure in London, probably one of my favorite events i have attended. The atmosphere was so great - everyone dressed up in crazy, weird, funky outfits, nobody cares how old are you, what you do, everyone just have fun, no judgement, no criticism, no bad emotions. So i wish this to the whole world - be more like color run - so different, but so positive!
